I am honoured to become one of the fellows in the program of Education.

I was invited to organize the United Nations International Telecommunication Union online event for the celebration of the World Children’s Day!

“A Global View of Current Practices for Children and Digital Environments”

Speakers included leading figures from the LEGO Group, the European Commission,
Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Media Lab), Sesame Workshop, Honda Research Institute Japan, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Hellenic Institute of Educational Policy,UNICEF Innocenti.

We also invited children from Nigeria, Greece and indigenous children from Mexico to talk about their vision and needs regarding the design and use of technology in their everyday activities.

Brain, Language and AI: Towards brain-inspired intelligence (China, 4-6 November, 2024)

The Chinese Academy of Science in collaboration with the French National Institute for Research in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA) organized a intensive workshop to explore how neuroscience and cognitive science can inform methods in Artificial Intelligence. I was very honoured to be invited and contribute with my studies on child development and collaborative child-robot interaction

Invited talk at the United Nations in New York! (11 October, 2024)

United Nations General Assembly, New York, UNHQ. UNICRI Centre for AI and Robotics, together with the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations, the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates, the Permanent Mission of Uruguay, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the sale, sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children, conducted a High-Level Side Event to the 79th United Nations General Assembly entitled “Existing and Emerging Sexually Exploitative Practices Against Children in the Digital Environment”.

Super excited to participate in UNESCO’s “Digital Leanring Week” at Headquarters in Paris.

The title of my talk was Title of our talk: “Building Bridges for Global Citizenship: Multimodal GenAI in cross-cultural Education and Sustainable Development”.
